The 'Sweetener' album by Ariana Grande is a fifty/fifty album in my opinion with songs which are fantastic along with some I could do without. Keep reading to know which songs are flops and bops.

1. raindrops (an angel cried)
I personally really like the intro to the album. It showcases her mid range to somewhat higher range belts along with her runs. BOP
2. blazed (ft. Pharell Williams)
I didn't enjoy this song that much, like I would skip if I could. Though, I love how there are those little bits which allows to dip into lower notes. Overall, I just can't vibe with it. FLOP
3. the light is coming (ft. Nicki Minaj)
The song seemed unfinished with the instrumental and that combined with the annoying constant voice in the background, I can't vibe. Nicki should have had a small part in the beginning then have a bigger verse in the middle, rather than have her stuck in the beginning and never come back. FLOP
4. R.E.M.
I'm impartial with this song. I don't love it but I don't hate it. I just have to be in the right mood to vibe with this one. BOP?FLOP?
5. God is a woman
This song is an absolute banger. The musicality of this is amazing. The song showcases her vocals and flexibility with her voice. The only thing is how many people it would offend and discourage, but she a right to her opinion; although, I don't agree with the song's overall message. BOP
6. sweetener
As the title track, it's cute. I feel a small nostalgia towards her Yours Truly album. Although, I could do without the small yelps in the back; it really distracts from the main part. BOP
7. successful
The vibe I get from this song is similar to the one I get from 'sweetener'. Although, there's just not much to the song, and I wouldn't put it on a playlist. FLOP
8. everytime
The song was pretty good. Nothing bad, nothing too special on the other hand though. Despite this, I still enjoy listening to it. BOP
9. breathin
The song of my millennium, honestly. I enjoy listening to the song so much. The chorus is really nice with the mid-belts. The song overall is just nice to listen to, along with the message. BOPBOPBOP
10. no tears left to cry
I used to love this song. Although, it just fell into the depths of my mind, as it wasn't all too memorable. Don't get me wrong, it's good, but it got overplayed quickly. BOP
11. borderline (ft. Missy Elliot)
I actually liked this song. Usually, I wouldn't gravitate to songs similar, but I really enjoyed listening to this. The addition of Missy Elliot was really nice too. BOP
12. better off
The loft-ish beat at the beginning really drew me into this song. I believe this was the only ballad type of song on the album. It was a nice break from the upbeat style of the rest of the songs. It was well-placed and a great addition to the album. BOP
13. goodnight n go
My personal favorite song off the album. I love how she drew this from one of her idol's songs, and put her twist on it. It's the perfect mellow song to relax to. It shows her ballad/upbeat stylings really well. (Though, I'm biased because the song really catered to my favorite styles.) BOPBOPBOP
14. pete davidson
It was a cute song, but I just couldn't vibe with it. It even had little breaks between the even short song being less than 1:30. FLOP
15. get well soon
I loved the outro to the album. I like how it was a simpler background with piano, but it doesn't sound empty. Her vocals really compliment the overall vibe of the closing of the album. BOP
And with that, I conclude what I think about each song off of Ariana Grande's 'Sweetener' album.
I do not own any pictures. Everything stated is just my opinion.
